The short version: This website uses only the cookies it needs to function. We don't use advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or any tools that follow you around the internet. Some third-party services we use (like Calendly and Formspree) set their own cookies when you interact with them, we've listed these below.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They're used for various purposes, keeping you logged in, remembering your preferences, understanding how visitors use a site, and serving relevant advertising.

Cookies can be set by the website you're visiting ("first-party cookies") or by third-party services embedded in the page. They can be "session cookies" that disappear when you close your browser, or "persistent cookies" that remain on your device for a set period.

2. What cookies does this site use?

This website currently sets no first-party cookies beyond those strictly necessary to operate the site. We don't use:

If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies

These are set automatically when you use certain features of the site. They don't track you and they don't require your consent under UK PECR.

Analytics cookies (set only if you accept)

These help us see how the site is used so we can improve it. They stay off until you accept them on our cookie banner. If you accept, Microsoft Clarity sets the cookies described in section 3. If you reject, none are set.

3. Third-party services and their cookies

When you interact with certain features on this site, such as booking a call or submitting the contact form, third-party services are involved. These services may set their own cookies, which are subject to their own privacy and cookie policies.

Microsoft Clarity (analytics)

With your consent, we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use this site, through session recordings and heatmaps. Clarity loads only after you accept it on the cookie banner. If you reject, it does not load and sets nothing.

When it runs, Clarity sets cookies including _clck, _clsk, CLID, ANONCHK and a Microsoft identifier called MUID that Microsoft can use across its own services. We don't run Microsoft Advertising and we don't use Clarity for advertising. Clarity masks form fields by default, so anything you type into the diagnostic, including your name and email, is not recorded.

Microsoft operates Clarity, through Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited for UK and EU visitors, and stores the data in the United States. You can change your choice any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. See Clarity's privacy information for more.

Formspree (contact form)

When you submit our contact form, the data is processed by Formspree. Formspree may set cookies related to spam prevention and form processing. See Formspree's privacy policy for details.

Calendly (call booking)

If you click our Calendly booking link, you'll be taken to Calendly's website where their cookies apply. Calendly uses cookies for authentication, preferences, and analytics. See Calendly's privacy policy for details.

Google Fonts

This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may collect anonymised data about font requests (including your IP address). We load fonts using a connection pre-established at page load, which limits the data Google receives. See Google's privacy policy. Google Fonts does not set cookies in your browser.

LinkedIn (external link)

Our site links to LinkedIn. If you click through to LinkedIn, their cookies apply. We do not embed a LinkedIn pixel or any LinkedIn tracking on this site. See LinkedIn's cookie policy.

4. Your choices

The main control is our cookie banner. It shows on your first visit and lets you accept or reject analytics. You can change your mind any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the banner. Reject, and Microsoft Clarity never loads.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site functions. Blocking all cookies will prevent the contact form and Formspree from working correctly.

Instructions for managing cookies in the most common browsers:

You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies via Your Online Choices, though this doesn't apply to this site as we don't use advertising cookies.

5. Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy if our use of cookies changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we'll update this policy before doing so and implement appropriate consent mechanisms where required by law.
